I’m Chris Carty, a passionate craftsman and owner of Hamilton’s Interiors. Having been brought up around a business of antiques and furniture restoration I have always had an interest in ‘up-cycling’, even before it became fashionable.
After trying my hand at buying and selling antiques, and finding and restoring pieces that needed a little TLC, I’ve found the most interest in what I do now.
I enjoy the challenge of making something out of nothing – taking raw materials, new or old, and transforming them into something unique.
Old, tired furniture that is no longer used, rustic pieces of machinery and tools or even an idea in a potential customer’s head.
I take a usual, “normal” base, apply my own unique twist and then Make the Old New Again.
